Cathayan Rares

This is the beginning of the Homebrew Cathayan armylist I have been working on, or rather the end of it. I'll be gradually posting it in backwards order so that it's in the correct order when scrolling through the blog.

                      Walking the Elements: At the start of the game declare an element that this unit will begin using: Wood, Fire, Earth, Wind, or Water. At the start of each of your player turns the monks continue to walk the elements and select a new element based on their previous choice: Wood- Fire or Wind, Fire- Earth or Water, Earth- Wind or Wood, Wind- Water or Fire, Water- Wood or Earth. They may choose to leave the path by selecting a different element or continuing to use their current choice, if they do so they must pass a Leadership test or lose all benefits from Walking the Elements until the start of your next turn. Benefits:

Wood- Dragon monks gain Strider and the monks can always march
Fire- Dragon monks gain a S2 Breath Weapon and all attacks made by the monks are Flaming
Earth- Dragon monks become Unbreakable
Wind- Dragon monk close combat attacks have Killing Blow
Water- Dragon monks gain a 5+ Ward Save

                      artillery dice. If it shows a misfire, roll on the Rocket Misfire
                      chart. If it shows a number, move the template directly away
                      from the Rocket Battery along the line of fire a number of
                      inches equal to the number shown on the dice. Then roll for
                      scatter, re-rolling any misfire results.
